Welcome to my world.

I was born in Brighton, England in 1963. I grew up on the outskirts of Brighton where the views of the South Down's were and still are an awesome sight to behold each day. My friends and I spent many hours walking dogs across the Southdown's, and finding objects in the passing clouds on sunny days while lazing in wheat fields.

Painting is something I have always loved doing and I have been commissioned to paint many pet portraits over the years. Of course Pet portraits are not the only things I paint. I have painted children’s bedroom walls with cartoon murals, Lounge hallways walls with stencils and graphic designs. I have designed tattoos, Painted shop windows and company signs etc.

At the age of 32 I decided that I wanted to return to Art College and finish what I'd started so many years ago. I have to say 2 years at West Thames College was worth every sacrifice and I met some wonderful students and tutors. I'd like to give a special thank you to Simon who was my 1st year tutor and course leader as he was the most inspirational teacher I have ever had. Not forgetting my parents who taught me to appreciate the countryside and all the beauty that it provides us, in all the seasons and weathers. This has certainly helped my photography no end and inspired me to want to capture the beauty of mankind, animals, plants and our beautiful planet in my art.

Now I am pursuing my dream of making my way in this world as an artist. What I paint has to be aesthetically pleasing to me and I don't give a damn what anyone else thinks of my work. I have no desire to shock I just want to paint pictures that make people feel good and smile. Perhaps invoke a good memory from the past or induce a positive emotion within the onlooker. I feel there is too much pain in the world and I have no desire to portray that pain, at lease not at the moment. Who knows what the future may bring. All in all I have learnt to love and respect all living things as everything has it place in the circle of life on this earth.
